Your Custom Website Plan

Every website design project is different, but we do tend to follow the same basic set of steps for each project:

The Website Plan

  • Initial Consultation
  • Proposal
  • Design
  • Coding
  • Content Integration
  • Launch
  • Testing
  • Website Maintenance
  • Search Engine Optimization

1. INITIAL CONSULTATION -

There are many ways to develop a Custom Website, with infinite options for color, design, layout, graphics, navigation, etc. We help you define your goals, identify your audience, and determine the size, content and navigation system necessary for your website.

2. PROPOSAL -

We submit a price/time estimate.

3. DESIGN -

We create your Website Layout in professional design software and the process generally happens in a few stages. Since this is a team effort, we ask for your feedback and make necessary corrections. We also welcome clients who already have a Finished Website Design.

4. CODING -

We lay out your Basic Website Structure using Standard Website Programming Languages. You will be able to view the progress of your Website through a test server.

5. CONTENT INTEGRATION-

We add your photos and text to the appropriate pages in a way that creates interest and visual flow. We can manipulate your photos and help you with key phrase-rich content.

6. LAUNCH -

Your new Custom Website goes World Wide! You should have a domain name, and we transfer all your files to a Live Web Server. We can help you choose an appropriate domain name, purchase the domain name through a Registrar, and locate a Web Hosting Company.

7. TESTING -

We actually test everything as we go, but it's good to go over the entire website one final time.

8. SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION -

We code each Custom Website Project with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in mind, but we can provide additional Search Engine Optimization Services to increase your website ranking in competitive markets.

9. WEB MAINTENANCE -

Website Maintenance can involve anything from monthly updates to the complete re-design of certain website pages.
